Weekend Recap

The weather was crappy this weekend, lots of rain thanks to tropical storm Andrea. Saturday was nonstop rain so we stayed in the house. I got some cleaning done. Being at the house all day made the whole diet thing hard. I was constantly wanting to make something to eat. Mike kept asking me what I wanted to do, normally on the weekends we got out to eat at least one meal, so every time he asked, I kept thinking about food! However, I was strong and kept to strictly to my diet!

Today the weather was better. But we didn't want to go to the pool because we knew the water would be too cold from all the rain. We took the twins to Huguenot Park for the first time today. They loved swinging. The park is a two minute drive from our house, a short walk, but I am not comfortable crossing four lanes of high speed traffic (highway like) with a stroller... so we will not be walking any time soon.

Then we drove around the neighborhood while the twins napped looking for houses for sale. This is a whole separate topic and post. But we are quickly out growing our current house and are in love with our neighborhood and community... so every couple of weeks we drive up and down the streets looking at houses for sale. We found one on the lake we are in love with. Looked it up when we got home and it;s huge, but only a 3 bedroom! So that's a no go.
