Mike and I were lucky enough to get a little date night on Saturday thanks to my mom. It was much needed. Being married to a small business owner is hard! We were out of town last week... and the week before my husband was MIA working around the clock to make his due dates for all the dates we were gone. He came home to piles of new cases so last week was again working around the clock to try to catch up! We are thankful for the work, but his lack sanity from working nonstop and my lack sanity for being alone 24/7... we were over due for a break.
We traveled up to DC to catch a MLB Nationals game. We didn't plan this well at all. It was very last minute... we got up to the game and went to buy tickets... and it was basically sold out! This NEVER happens. It was all because they had a "free" concert on the field after the game... and it was Austin Mahone. You know the teenage boy who is apparently suppose to be the next Justin B.
Because of the lack of seasons we got much nicer seats than usual. It was a great game. They won and we stayed afterwards for the concert. I mean why not?
